The most photogenic icon in the city: the Roman stone tiers above the beach and the open sea create a dramatic, one-of-a-kind backdrop, spectacular in the golden light of sunrise or sunset.
At the end of the Rambla Nova, its classic balustrade frames the sea, Platja del Miracle and the amphitheatre in a single glance; the best viewpoint for couples and the prime spot for sunset over the sea.
The grand staircase and the Romanesque-Gothic facade at the highest point of the old town offer a monumental, light-filled setting, ideal for family portraits and compositions with architectural grandeur.
The 14th-century Gothic porticoes of Carrer Merceria and the medieval lanes lined with Roman wall offer intimate corners, soft shade and textures that are perfect for portraits with character.
A family beach of golden sand and calm Blue Flag waters, just minutes from the centre: ideal for relaxed family and holiday sessions with plenty of space and clean light over the sea.

My favourite spots are the Amfiteatre Romà de Tarragona above the sea, the Balcó del Mediterrani at the end of the Rambla Nova, the Catedral de Tarragona i Pla de la Seu and the narrow streets of the Part Alta. Platja de l'Arrabassada is ideal for more relaxed family sessions.
